the one i have is fisher price brand I’m not sure what model but it is the one with the red lights so you can see if baby is crying even if you have the volume turned all the way down. we also have wireless Internet and it doesn’t effect it. i really like it it comes with 2 i guess it would be called receivers and they take batteries. so we have one hooked up in our room plugged in the wall and the other in the kitchen area on batteries so we can take it with use even outside. I’m going to look and see if i can find it for sale on the web some were and will past the link

I love the video monitor I have. The link is listed below. It has not effected our wifi at all. The peace of mind is just great. These were not out yet with our first. I also use it in the playroom to keep an eye out while I’m downstairs.

I have the Graco monitor. It’s GREAT! No interference with anything (I have mine on right now RIGHT next to my computer with wireless internet), great sound, the light panel that lights up when the baby is making noise (in case the monitor is turned way down, you can still tell baby’s up), it comes with four cord-optional receivers, AND (this may be the best part) comes with detachable, colored face plates so you can match the base monitor to your baby’s nursery. I highly recommend this product :)

OH, and it’s only about $30-50!

Just keep in mind you get what you pay for. Even the middle of the road monitors have interference. I would invest in a rated one….looks like video monitors are they way to go.

Not that it matters but did you hear about the lady who was getting a video feed from the space station on her baby monitor. That cracks me up. MY son is going to be an astronaut, yeah well look at my daughter…..

We have the Fisher Price Lights and Sounds. It was okay if we used batteries with the receiver but if you plugged it in you got a radio station. The baby slept in our room for a couple months and then went to his own room with the monitor. After a couple of months I realized that every little sound the baby made was waking us up so we would check on him and wake him up. Once we got rid of it he had to be awake enough for us to hear him. Keep in mind his room was next to ours so we definitely hear him when he really needs us and is not just making noise.

We love our Graco Digital monitor, it works well and goes a good distance. We have never had problems with it interfering.
