I would guess so..the technician told me she was 98% sure I was having a girl, then after 2 girl showers, out pops Benjamin. SURPRISE! He is normally sized. My guess is that he wasn’t fully developed yet at the time of the ultrasound – or the technician sucked.
It’s possible, ultrasounds aren’t 100%, but depending on how far along you were at the time & the type of scan (3/4D are much more clear), the girl prediction could be pretty accurate. Boys are pretty visable as long as you can get a clear shot between their legs.
yes it can be missed in a ultra sound! it can be covered by the cord….. or sometimes they mistaken the cord and things its his boy part..lol.that happend to my sis in law, turned out to be agirl….lol..I’d say get the 3 d one, those r perfect and they shouldn’t mistake what it is on one of those!
and it depends on the babys size! I have 2 boys and they were diff….lol…

The doctor swore my oldest was a girl, even pointed out the little poof. He was boy. When he was born his little balls unfolded and out popped his little thing. And as for size, they are like every male, all different.
All sizes but it is possilbe to miss in in a ultra sound. I had a friend that thought she was having a girl. They painted the room and all for a girl and wham a boy came out and he is well endowed….I would had thought that would be hard to miss? But apparently they did!
And I had a friend who thought she was having a boy and wham out came a girl.
So it is possilbe! What do you think you are having? And usually the mom is right.
Uh, do all MEN have the same sized penises? No! It is possible for them to miss it on the ultrasound and not necessarily because of the size of it. The baby could have it’s legs crossed, could be turned the wrong way….or it could be a girl!
lol well lets just say this the ultrasound tech told me girl for my 1st son at 2 ultrasounds then at 32 wks they finally seen the penis.
With my second son it was the same thing lol they said girl 80% sure and it was a boy. They thought they got a pretty good shot between the legs both times but without a clear shot they can’t give a 100%.
I have also heard of u/s saying boy and people having a girl because the cord gets in between the legs and looks like a penis.
it is very possible to be missed during the ultrasound. depending on the babies position, it can be difficult to tell. while a well trained tech is usually right it is not always the case, by the third trimester the sex is more evident and those photos are usually accurate, if you don’t mind waiting that long. i personally didn’t find out and am glad because i don’t have to wonder if they got it right. and yes their parts differ in size but not to such a great extent that it would make a visual difference.
Most definately. If it is a boy he could be hiding his “stuff” Ultrasounds are not 100 percent, give it time. The baby might not want you to know until they meet you in person. lol Babies in the uterus like to mess with us, I know mine did, she had her legs clamped shut and her tongue sticking out with every one and I had a bunch of ultasounds. Just buy stuff that works for either and enjoy what you get. Good luck!

no way they arent all born the same, my nephews are pretty well off is how I’d put it!!
And yeah their dad is proud! HAHA
I do have a friend that was suppesed to have a girl and oops its a boy! People are human and they make mistakes.
